Our proposals have been assessed within the Transport Assessment produced by White Young Green Consultancy aimed at establishing the effect of the proposed development on the surrounding road network. This report will be available on the Council’s website in due course.
The site is accessibly located and benefits from direct pedestrian access onto Blundell’s Road.
Cycle parking spaces will be provided onsite in a well monitored location for use by staff and customers. This will enable cycling as a substitute to short car trips or part of longer journeys by public transport.
The nearest bus stop is located approximately 100m away adjacent to the site on Blundell’s Road. Services 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 352 and 353 regularly link the store with Tiverton, Cullompton, Exeter and surrounding areas.
The existing accessibility to the site via non-car modes of transport is therefore considered to be very good.
